Patriots RB James White Retire From NFL

James White, a running back with the New England Patriots, announced his

retirement from the NFL on Thursday. He is listed as being physically

unable to perform by the team. His season was cut short by a hip injury

last September, which necessitated surgery. It has been an honor to

represent my family, my teammates, and the people of New England

as a Patriot, White said in a statement shared on social media. With the

Patriots, White has won three Super Bowls. In the regular season, White finished with 381

catches for 3,278 yards and 15 touchdowns in addition to 319 carries for 1,278 yards.
